We have now submitted a full planning application for Scout Moor II to Rochdale Borough Council and Rossendale Borough Council. This follows two rounds of public consultation and ongoing engagement with local residents, landowners, community groups, and statutory bodies.​

​The application sets out full details of the proposed wind farm and moorland restoration proposals, including assessments of its potential effects on the environment, landscape, transport, and biodiversity, along with proposed mitigation and enhancement measures.​

A separate application for works on common land will be submitted to the Planning Inspectorate in due course. This will follow confirmation of the final layout through the planning process, to ensure it reflects both feedback from the community and decisions made by the local planning authorities.​
